A couple of things...

My oldest daughter recently sent out her applications to a number of colleges and has, so far, received two acceptance letters! One of the colleges has offered her a substantial scholarship but she will need to continue applying for scholarships because the tuition is high. We are very excited for her and we look forward to seeing what God has planned for her future. My "mommy heart" wouldn't mind if the college that is 30 minutes away would give her a scholarship! We will see!

Also, my daughter, Emily, made this broomstick skirt using this pattern. It took her less than two hours and it cost her $3.00 because she made it from an inexpensive bed sheet that she found at Walmart. I thought it came out quite cute!
