The Big Storm

You would think that there would be snowmen in my yard--or snow angels--or even a snowball fight in progress. You would think that since I live in Colorado and we just weathered "The Big Blizzard of '06" there would at least be some snow in my yard. But there is not:

If you squint your eyes and look closely at the picture--look far--you will see where the storm started--about 10 miles from my house. Yes, 10 miles from my house there is a foot of snow on the ground. In the mountains an hour away, there is over 2 feet of snow on the ground. Just none in my yard.

I am still dreaming of a white Christmas...
