FYI

Click here and head over to Barnes and Noble University where they offer four-week classes on a variety of different subjects including: Shakespeare, Writing Fiction, Web Pages Made Easy and a number of on-line reading groups. Some classes are free, although a book purchase is necessary, but some do cost a bit of money. I have taken these in the past and have found them very worthwhile. An instructor oversees each class and is available for questions, but the classes are generally self-guided.

Not only are these classes good for adults, but my 13-year old daughter took the Web Pages Made Easy class and created an awesome website devoted to the Lord of the Rings trilogy. She did this on her own with the help of the class instructor and I was able to count it as a semester computer class for homeschool!

Enjoy!
