"Education is an admirable thing, but it is well to remember from time to time that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught."

-Oscar Wilde

In homeschooling, I have found that the things that I have "taught" my children have only been a jumping-off point for their own self-learning and exploration. Otherwise, how to explain my daughter's love for science would be impossible, since I am, what you might call, science-illiterate. As for my love of learning, it was never developed in my own school days, but rather as a teacher attempting to teach my own kids. The valuable things I have learned, I have sought after and discovered on my own!
