Thanks to Samantha, who dwells at the Home Realm, I have become a successful sourdough-bread baker! I made my starter on Friday and baked my first loaf on Sunday; needless to say, the bread didn't last long.
Over the years, many sourdough-starters have found their way to the trash can in my home, much to the disappointment of my sourdough lovin' hubby; so I earned a few extra bonus points with this one! Actually, my husband LOVES food and I LOVE to cook for him, so it all works out.
The loaf in the picture is only my second (in two days!) and it will be eaten toasted with lots of butter and raspberry jam, with a glass of milk on the side!
