What our weekend looked like

My hubby and I own a small cabin in the mountains near our home and recently my hubby laid some tile in the kitchen and bathroom. (This replaces the red shag carpet that was there before.) Since my hubby is a tile contractor, he was able to use what we had in storage from past jobs by making a mosiac in the kitchen. He put the letter "H" in the middle of the floor since our last name starts with that letter.

When we walked into the cabin this weekend, Aubry was excited to see what her daddy did in the kitchen and Craig asked her, "What does the 'H' stand for, Aubry?" To which she proudly replied, "Horse!" I guess that goes to show that our reading lessons are working, right!?!
